Especially yesterday, at a most crucial point in the season, the fans turned up in numbers sung their hearts out, made a great atmosphere in a plush new plastic stadium, but for what?

The team never turned up, was gutting to see such a shocking display of shit, passionless display. There was pretty much nothing to cheer about throughout the game, no meaningful shot, no tackles, nothing, just abject.

Only Andrew Whing translated the passion and commitment showed by our fans on to the pitch. It's a wonder that people are contemplating going to Hereford on Tuesday night, the players, bar Whing should be ashamed to be picking up their wages. Not deserved at all.

For all the negativity that happens on this board, rarely does it spill into the crowd like the levels it did yesterday. At least the players know they are coasting to division FOUR.

A disgrace to the club we love, sort your ideas out or f*** off. The wheels have fallen off and the board, managers and players are all to blame!!!

Couldn't have put it better myself. Whing was the only player worthy of any applause at the end of the game, and he was the only player I clapped. If the rest of the players showed half as much passion, courage and commitment as he did yesterday then we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place. What annoys me most is that we are going down with barely even a whimper.

Quite right --shape up or ship out ....the club needs to be swept clean of all those taking "wages" and not contributing to the cause..time to start again

I think I would say the whole defence and keeper did okay. They just had no protection from the midfield. Did we even have a midfield?

The fans were great except for the Craig Davies chants at the end. Like it or not, he is all we have at the moment and booing him and singing "your not fit to wear the shirt" will make it less likely he will succeed for us.

Have you been to many away games this year? Although we aren't great at home compared to every other team in the league we probably are one of the best teams at home!

That's quite shocking I know but the vast majority of teams I've seen this year haven't sung more than twice which is terrible considering we've lost so many away games

So you thought Kuipers did OK? I thought he was at fault for the second goal personally.
What is wrong with the management at this football club? We have a proven Championship level midfielder on loan at a club in a division below us, an international player at the club and we recall Doug Loft from Dagenham and start him in midfield alongside Fraser.
No disrespect to Fraser or Loft, but when you see these two are starting in midfield you just know that we will probably find it very difficult to get a win.

No I don't see anyway you can blame Kuipers for the second goal. It was a good cross and one that keepers hate because they don't know whether to come or not.

Good keepers would come for it, the cross was in the six yard box area and Kuipers should have dealt with it. However you could also blame the defenders for not cutting out the cross and leaving Puncheon unmarked to head the ball in.

Sadly,we have sub third division players - many of whom aren't even ours - and we appear to be going out with a whimper. Many of OUR players will better suit the fourth division, and the fear that many will leave of choice is risable.Nobody else will have them.Certainly we have one or two who might attract some modest attention, but unless there is a brave cull we could be left with the rest.

But historically we are a lower league team, and have had ups and downs like other lower league teams. If this is to be a down, let's hope that the next move is another up,whenever it comes.

Besides, our 57 points might just keep us up.

I would agree as Puncheon didnt hardly have to jump to head it in. This is the difference when MK Dons needed a player they signed one of Puncheons ability from Plymouth we sign nohopers.

100% correct and the reason the season ticket renewals havent come out nobody would buy them now but give it to the end of May and lots of positive PR from DK and people will start buying them again.

i can't believe that there's much different between bottom of Dive 3 and top of Dive 4. Our current set up would only just about survive in Dive 4- we are in freefall - not just the team but the club.

Let's get it over with, let's get relegated, have a big clearout and start again - back to August 1998, ie in Dive 4 with a new ground just a couple of years away - progress?, what progress?

Very well said Mendoza
Says it all when we all think that singing were the left/right side is the highlight of the day(although it was brilliant!:lolol:)
Hopefully the players and staff see yesterday as a wake up call of how lucky they are to have us, most teams in this league would'nt get half of what we took

It was galling when Mark McGhee told the supporters that the Stoke result did not matte, based on the points making no difference to our league place.

This is much worse, that the players perform like it doesn't matter when points DO make a difference.

McGhee also decided to rest players for an away game one Boxing Day. He argued that our home game two days later was more important...result...we lost both games.
I believe that the character of our side has been shown over the last 5 games. We beat Yeovil 5-0, with certain players looking like world beaters and yet in 3 vital away games, following, we haven't even been competitive. You would have thought that 72 hours after winning 5-0, we would have had the confidence to take the game to Walsall ( who had just lost 5-0 at home themselves !!! )..But no, we get blown away in less than 40 minutes.
Those of us at MKD yesterday are still hurting from the fact that an out of sorts opposition coasted to a comfortable win against a side apparently fighting for their lives.
If we are going down, then all we ask is that we go down fighting like lions...snarling and aggressive...never giving up lost causes.
The weak and abject surrender that we are currently witnessing has lasting effects...the fans feel the players care les than them.
Ultimately, the club pays the highest price...the fans give up and don't go.
