The Players and The Board Dont Deserve The Tremendous Support We Give

I think I would say the whole defence and keeper did okay.

Okay? You are joking. El Abd seemed to spend half his time wandering around in no-mans-land pointing at opponents and Virgo was his usual clumsy spacially unaware self. Whilst Kuipers made some good saves he could have done better with both goals.

funny that, when i turned round to see who the twats signing crap at our players,im sure you were with the group.

Crap like what? All the stuff against Craig Davies I didnt join in, people around me were sining, but I didnt agree with it, so didnt join in.

Songs about League Two and relegation, I joined in with, but that was in the second half when the game was lost, and about the whole situation, not indivisual players.

Surely the players cant expect to be applauded off (which for some reason they were) and lavished with praise the whole way through a shit performance?

It says something when all our fans can sing 5-10mins of We're the left side/right side, but nothing of any excitement happened on the pitch!

I wasn't joking. Both centre halves did okay, covering where necessary for the full backs. El Abd struggled against a tricky winger but a few times the crowd were calling for him to dive him, he stood his ground and put in decent tackles. Especially considering he was out of position. Whing was obviously the best of the lot and Kuipers did okay and am not sure he could have done much with either goal.

As I said before, all our problems stemmed from having no midfield effectively.

Timbha is dead right we are likely to just survive in Div 2,with the result that gates will fall to approx 3/500 to 4000 the squad will have to be prunned leaving us with those on the lowest wages.
Regarding the players is it lack of effort or ability?

Think Russell Slade feels the fans have been let down this season... He was genuinely gutted that we couldn't give the 2000-plus travelling fans something on Saturday.

From my point of view, the Albion fans have been superb this season, home and away. Even the stuff directed at Davies on Saturday, which I never like to hear and disagreed with, was borne of desire and sheer frustration from fans who are desperate for the team to succeed.

One great thing about Peter Taylor, was he always took this type of criticism on the chin. As it was coming from fans who wanted their team to succeed just as much as he did. I think Russell Slade does the same.

fenny stratford i think your find, great landlord, lovely setting for a afternoon beers

hats the one, it was weird but brilliant spending the pe match build up opening the lock for barges to go through, feeding swans and basking in the sunshine on the Grand Union canal. So unexpected when you look at the surrounding Bletchley a Milton Keynes

The Albion have had amazing support for years ... all through the almost relegation from the league, the Gillingham days, the Withdean frustration ... but this year in particular we just haven't seen that desire to succeed from most of the players.

I for one largely blame the whole loan fiasco ... far too many loan players permitted ... they are not committed to the club and most of them play that way. I honestly we would have been better sticking with Jake, Loft, Cook, Gargan who at least would have given 100%, and who knows sticking with a more settled team might just have won us more points.

There was a group in front of me, who upped and went as soon as the second goal went in. Yes, 5 minutes before half time !
Others around me couldn't believe it but these guys were adamant that they had had enough and were off.
They obviously felt the game was already over and the saddest part of all of this is that they were right.
Its certainly the earliest that I have seen anyone leave a game but maybe its indicative of the current mood.
I was all for going after ' the Davies miss ' but the two guys I was with wanted to see it through and so we did.

Insider, is there any way you can get the message across to the team that we just want them to TRY. I can accept going down, indeed I've reconciled myself to it, but the fact that the majority of the players just don't seem to care is a massive, massive kick in the teeth. Running about like headless chickens is not a recipe for success, but at least if they ran about something might happen!
