Durlston
"You plonker, Rodney!"
The weather up in Scotland could make it a bit of a lottery but I have gone for £10 each-way on ERNIE ELS (20/1) & LUKE DONALD (40/1).
You?
You?
I have put £50 on Justin Rose. Don't know why, just fancied having a bit of interest in the golf, and he is a form player apparently (I heard it on the radio!)
Why would you bet £50 on golf when you know nothing about it.... your either loaded or well just a bit silly...
Having siad that, he is bang in form.
What odds do you get with golf each way bets? If they allow the top 7, does that mean full payout for first place and one seventh of the odds for seventh? Or is that too logical?
1/4 odds 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th places.
Of course 1st place you get the win payment too.
Sorry, I'm trying not to be thick. Does that mean that for example, if a player is 80/1, you get odds of 20/1 whether he comes first or seventh?
And that £1 E/W bet would actually cost you £2If you backed somebody £1 E/W [ie to WIN and PLACE] at 80/1, you would collect;
£21 if they finished 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th.
£102 [81 AND 21] if they won.
And that £1 E/W bet would actually cost you £2
