It was cracking I'm not sure I've seen so many players off side at one time

It was a good tactic but don't want to see it played regularly. Had my heart in my mouth and was expecting someone not to have got the message and stayed in there.

if ONE player had not been paying attention, that would have been very, very embarassing

When Mike Bailey was manager we used to do that all the time. It became tiresome after a while but today it was brilliant.

The referee didn't need an excuse to do us over....dangerous game Gus!

The ref wasn't one sided, he gave us everything in the first half and nothing in the second so overall it evened out. Still thought his decisions for either side were poor though.

It was f***ing awesome. Took all the pressure off at the end of the game although I hope it isn't a regular fixture as it could easily lead to embarrassment...

A very brave tactic considering it was stoppage time and there was one goal in it, but it worked perfectly and was thoroughly enjoyable. Had anyone not been on the same page then it would have been very foolish rather than brave

I'd be interested to see it again and see if the linesman actually got it right. Not sure if the player who received the ball was offside or not!

About 8 others were though, so he had to give it really, baffling for the Lino.

I mused earlier this season if we had any understanding of the offside law, since we seem to make the effort to ensure opposition are onside, dropping back to cover if they drift. On average, our opposition are caught offside 0.52 times a game. We average 2 times a game.

I was stunned we even tried it, let alone that it worked.
