Love rugby.
Would rather watch Rugby World Cup than Football World Cup.
Wrong thread for you then fella.
Wrong forum even, the Rugby World Cup is called the Rugby World Cup.
The football World Cup ( your words ) is just the World Cup.

It's actually The FIFA World Cup.
Football can learn a lot from rugby. .
I fear this thread isn't for you, read the title.
On another note my Facebook feed was overflowing with Rugby related guff last night, after the game I cheekily posted on one thread asking what the score was because I had been watching Ipswich v Brum, the apoplectic rage that post induced was hilarious. I even got defriended by someone I didn't even know liked Rugby after being accused of being unpatriotic! All very chucklesome indeed.
Could be interesting - one full back and eight forwards...............How many times are we going to hear this old chestnut over the next few weeks ? .

Why ? In terms of respect to the ref, only the captain can approach them to query a decision. Wouldn't mind seeing the sin bin introduced for certain yellow offences either.
I wonder is you asked 100 of these fanatical England rugger fans which club side they support and where the play how many would have an answer? 10% maybe. If that.
I see you have already found the other thread cheerio
I haven't got a clue what you are talking about as I don't LIKE rugby.
I tried to get into last night's match but it was very dull. Rugby league seems a better sport from what I've seen of it.
Have you given it a chance? I didn't used to like Rugby either. Then a friend started playing for Worthing and I started going down to watch him and I started to learn things about the game from others that did at the ground so I knew what was going on.
Yes I have tried watching rugby, but only on TV and I just didn't find it entertaining.
Post #102 by Easy 10 is how I feel about rugby
The lack of diving and cheating is rather refreshing, as is the fact that many of the player can string together a few words when interviewed.
This. As was once written " football is a game for gentlemen played by hooligans whereas rugby is a game for hooligans played by gentlemen" Referees get total respect from players (No Rooney type attitudes accepted) No cheating trying to get other players sent off or feigning injury.
More like rugby os a game played in a very small amount of countries and in all of those countries except maybe Wales and New Zealand, it is a minority sport. Football however is a game that has been played by most men on the planet at sometime in their life and it is difficult to think of a country where it is not the most popular sport.
