Most people who don't like rugby haven't got a scooby about the rules in my experience. Hard to enjoy something you don't understand
Top class international rugby pisses all over International football .....imo
If you watched that game and didn't enjoy it, then you'll never enjoy sport. If you watched SA v Japan and didn't enjoy it, you will never enjoy a Rugby union game. Superb.
The sport I hate the most is tennis and that was great today as well. Sometimes great sport delivers in whatever sport you watch.
If you didn't enjoy that, the you'll never enjoy sport.
Didn't watch any of it. Still enjoy sport. Still not rugby - that might have put me off sport! Meh..........
So why have you bothered coming on to a thread for people who can't give a toss about the RWC?If you watched SA v Japan and didn't enjoy it, you will never enjoy a Rugby union game. Superb.

Cobblers, every word, can't be bothered to respond to such contrived fabricated comment or opinion.....utter crap. From my experience - with mates who are mainly lifelong rugby players and fans - half the time, they don't know what's going on either, not through lack of knowledge, simply because watching live from a distance it's very hard to tell.
As for being better than international football, I went to England v Scotland in the Six Nations last year, very keen to sample this amazing atmosphere we're constantly told about. Hmm. Compared to meaningful Wembley internationals I've been to, very quiet. And I can't really get my head around a sport so 'gripping' that large groups keep wandering out to collect more beers while the match is in progress.
Quite enjoy rugby in some respects and the best players are amazing sporting specimens but the derogatory comparisons constantly made with football put me off, particularly the condescending nonsense about everyone mixing. That happens quite happily outside the vast majority of football matches too while, inside the ground, I'd take the partisan atmosphere any day. I don't actually want to sit next to a fan of the opposition and have a nice chat. I don't hate them or want to fight them but, for 90 minutes, there's nothing wrong with a bit of one-eyed pantomime rivalry.
Thought you'd bug gered off yesterday after realising you were on a thread not meant for you.Cobblers, every word, can't be bothered to respond to such contrived fabricated comment or opinion.....utter crap.
You now have all these clowns calling it the greatest upset ever in sport and such bollocks which further justifies the existence of this thread.
I'll put this into perspective for you then. This is as big a shock as North Korea beating Italy in 1966, or the USA beating England in 1950. Senegal beating France in 2002, Cameroon vs Argentina in 1990.
The most boring sport on earth and I'm sick of hearing about how well behaved the players are compared to footballers. Of course they are, there's no way you can be passionate having to play that dull shite for 80 minutes.
