1. I want to see some evidence as to how Britain will become more free and prosperous from this Deal as compared with what we had.

2. I look forward to the NHS receiving their cheque for £350 million extra funding on 7th January, and every week thereafter, forever.

1. Free in the sense that a tier of Government above our UK Government has been removed. A big win for those that hate too many tiers of control.

Prosperous ? That is a pipe dream and the price of "Free". That is why I am so keen on a Switzerland type deal to minimise the loss. We have taken a small step on that path but future governments have to go much further. I reckon a Customs Union proposal - to create a Turkey deal - is the next step but they'll need a new mandate. Rejoining EFTA quickly is a smart move if they have vision.

2. Forget that cheque. It was always a lie.

The difficulty now is all the absurd spin coming from both sides. I've immediately dismissed the government's statement and I'm not sure the EU will give a more honest picture either.

Still, it's all over. Kind of.

For the first time since 1973, the UK will be an independent coastal state with full control of its waters, he says.

The UK’s share of fish in its waters will rise substantially, he says, from roughly half today to closer to two-thirds in 5.5 years time.

We have completed the biggest trade deal yet worth £166bn a year, a comprehensive Canada-style free trade deal with the EU, he says.

The deal will protect jobs, allow UK goods to be sold without tariffs and quotas in the EU market, allow companies to do even more business with Europe, he says.

Yet, it achieves taking back control of our laws and our destiny, he says.

From 1 Jan, we are outside the customs union and single market, he says.

British laws will be made solely by the British parliament, interpreted by UK judges sitting in UK courts and the jurisdiction of the ECJ will come to an end, he says.

It is a start.

A Canada deal was never good enough though. Over time and in small steps we need to make it into a Switzerland deal.

It's like that old Aussie joke: Q: How do you know when the flight from London has landed at Sydney Airport? A: The engines have been switched off but the whining noise continues

Are we still covered by that EU healthcare card, are our drivers licences still valid in Europe, are pet passports still available?

Come on these are the important questions to the average person.

Do we fast track through in the EU and Switzerland queue at airports or go in the slow lane ?

Euro Clearing is going to go though, something the ECB has tried to tie to Euro countries only, but was ruled against by the ECJ. So where the ECJ once ensured this business could carry on in London, Brexit has ensured it will leave and take up to 80,000 well paid jobs out of the UK.
Rubbish. London will still be the European capital of financial services. It may be slightly watered down but 80k jobs won't go !! .. so far only a few hundred jobs have gone.
