Sorry if already mentioned elsewhere. We, (according to French Football News) are in the process of gazumping Southampton & Marseille for attacking midfielder/forward at Braga. Probably usual nonsense but is also the type of player Brighton would like.(although 20m more than usual) 22 years. Portuguese international. Seems promising.
Seems not .......................

I really thought we'd announce a signing this evening. I guess there's still time. Has Andy Naylor said 'no business expected today' yet?

From the Guardian's coverage:

To leave themselves able to sign Arsenal’s Cédric Soares on loan, Fulham are expected to sign Shane Duffy on a permanent deal. Duffy has been on loan since the start of the season. Clubs can only have two loans and Fulham have already taken Dan James from Leeds.

If Colwill, Lallana, and Ferguson aren't long term injuries
If Caicedo is prepared to put a shift in for the second half of the season
If Moder is back at some point over the next few months
If Ayari & Buanonotte are players who will be pushing for first team appearances by the end of the season

.....then i dont think we needed to make any more signings today. We certainly didnt need to go uneccesarily spunking our money.

Every window we finish weaker than we started, yet here we are, 6th in the PL. I can't remember, but presumably we used to be a top 4 side before our never ending downward slide?
