With the prognosis on Fergusons injury looking more and more promising (walkinng without crutch or special boot at the u21s yesterday) is the best outcome for today - nothing at all?
Not as bad as first feared, according to The Athletic. I suspect we'll have to wait to see how long he'll be out for. The good news is that we haven't got too many games in Feb. The one thing I'm sure we'll do -- and want us to do -- is to allow him to recover and not rush him back too soon (fwiw, I suspect he won't be out for too long: he's young and strong).

So we shouldn't be expecting a Knockaert style recovery / patch up job in time for Bournemouth?

not quite over yet but enjoying how much Andy Naylor has the Arsenal support on strings. Just hope none of them are unhinged enough or close enough to carry out those death threats (they all seem to be African)

Anyone else who used to love deadline day… not anticipating this one with great excitemen?
You mean staying up to 1am for the announcement of club legend returning .... Dean Hammond?

So I've heard various rumours over the past few weeks of Lamptey, Gilmour, Undav all leaving/going on loan. Do you reckon its safe to file them all under BS then?

So, here we are.

It all comes down to this.

Hot topics

Potential In:
Lee Kang-In
Vintnha (The other one)
Matviyenko

Confirmed In:
Barber / Bloom

Potential Out:
Caicedo

How will you be spending your transfer deadline day before the window formally slams shut?

I'll be spending the day getting desperately excited about what Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle are doing...... NOT.

And getting it in the ear from mrs DiS because the Saints haven't signed a striker.

I have felt a bit sorry for Gilmour but I was watching him pre match and he was laughing and joking with team mates. I also felt for him when he came on as he received quite a few balls that in the past you’d call hospital passes, apart from two misplaced paces from them in midfield, I thought he did OK. Can’t have been easy coming into the game at such a crucial time and being able to just adjust.

I like him, just needs game time imo.

I wouldn't have been too surprised - or disappointed - if one of them had gone out to get to get some game time (but not all three of them though!)
I also thought there were a couple more in the U21s ready for a loan out - but again, looks like not happening.

Just over 9 1/2 hours of the window left.

I still hope we get Matvienko, and I still think there is a chance Undav and van Hecke are loaned out.

Sorry if already mentioned elsewhere. We, (according to French Football News) are in the process of gazumping Southampton & Marseille for attacking midfielder/forward at Braga. Probably usual nonsense but is also the type of player Brighton would like.(although 20m more than usual) 22 years. Portuguese international. Seems promising.

Looking like zero incomings.

We might have problems if the likes of Mitoma, Estupinian or Webster get injured. Shame we didn’t get that left footed centre back.
