For what its worth, Barnes was just Barnes imo tonight. No better no worse.

So he missed a penatly, he's scored the last god knows how many, so he's entitled to miss one now and again. Had a flash of brilliance when he played a great one two when Vicente hit the bar, but also went down easier than a cheap whore. Run of the mill. The only surprise of the night, was he got subbed.

Why is there no abuse about Gary Dicker, he's done nothing all season. Very very average and just passes it about 5 yards everytime he gets the ball, no effort, headers, runs but still he makes the last squad of the last two losses. Can't wait for Bridcut to be back.

Thought Barnesy had another good game tonight, unlucky with the pen and one of our best, most versatile players this season.

Funny that. So did I. Which makes Bozza's shit even more annoying. Linked well with Vicente, done very well to win the pen, because I don't think the challenge on him that won it was, although the one seconds before blantetly was, and the ref knew he got it wrong, so it was quick thinking from Barnes to give the ref no choice.

I can't see or understand why people slag Barnes off. yes he missed a penalty, and there was a point that could have be salvaged riding on it. Whenever
Barnes puts a foot wrong at home or away lots of 'fans' turn hostile towards him. There is a reason why he plays football at a professional level, and thats

People were slating KLL early in season as well after he was coming back slowly from a serious injury. Absolute idiots.

I agree. How did Vicente hit the bar from so close? Poor penalty, but as soon as he replaced the ball I was worried. Barnes played well other than the pen.

The reason he replaced the ball prior to taking the kick, and probably why he didn't do his usual excellent job from the spot, was gamesmanship by the GK who came off his line to put Ashley off.

Problem is Bozza its easy to provoke after watching another game like that, where we dominate for periods, its not working, and the manager does nothing to change it, other than his predicable like for like subs. If you where going to do it tongue in cheek like you claim, set an example and use the smilies. That's what you have them for.
