And not disqualified! Shocking decision if they do not change that.

I'll be amazed if they dock him of all people. Had it been the other way around they might have even thrown in some Swiss Francs of off Anton to go with the disqualified for good measure I reckon.

Go on Jens!

No chance of him making it but it would be lovely wouldn't it?

Oh and climbing in the big ring at the moment, be impressed if he manages to keep this going for the 10 miles of this climb.

Like this attack from Gilbert and TJVG if they can bridge to Burghardt they will be looking good with three riders up there.

Movistar have really knocked off the pace. I know Voigt is proper going for it but putting a minute and a half in to them that quick seems unlikely otherwise.

Seconded!

I slated Radioshack at the beginning of this Tour, saying how weak they are. Fair play to them though, been really strong in the team comp and Bakelants in particular has had a blinder. I'm taking nothing I've said about AS back though.

Best form of defence is attack. Froome would love to win the stage but just making a final statement.

Superb Tour!

Qunitana gets his 2nd place and two jersey's to go with it. :)

Top win by Froome :clap2:. If we're doing comparisons then this win definitely beats Brad's from last year.

Unlucky. Better than losing it to Rolland though.

Not really, I'd backed Rolland at the start of the tour too. Backed Quintana for the white but not the KoM.

Froome rode a dumb racetoday. All he needed to do was ride on Quintana's wheel all the way up.

Instead him and JR did all the work while Quintana sucked along doing no work.

Didn't realise you had Rolland too, sorry. Double unlucky then.

Purely racing talk though - Yep, Froome didn't need to work at all but it's a measure of the kind of rider that he is that he didn't wheelsuck even when that's all he had to do. I love that! Don't begrudge Quintana for riding intelligently today neither as I think he's earnt that right.

Btw, that's some bloody showing again from AG2R today :clap2: Done poor old Jean Christophe Peraud proud there again. That should help speed up his recovery.

That depends on the criteria for the comparisons.

Froome has been utterly dominant, and the result has never been in question. Bradley looked vulnerable once or twice, but not overly so, last year. Again, he dominated the race - but the course very much suited him.

Froome's win has been brilliant, and I'm really pleased that he has won. But Bradley's win was one of those moments that will stay with me forever. After years of watching the Tour, and years of supporting Wiggo, it was a moment of pure beauty when he won. So for me, his win beats Froome's.
