I fully agree to be honest, a semi final should never be such a non contest, especially by a home nation who historically are one of the best ever

Hansen is thinking about himself. He's tipped Brazil to win, it's his retirement, he looks like a completely clueless c8ck on his big bowing out of punditry. He knows this will stick every bit as his you don't win anything with kids.

This was a glorious night for football. Brazil fouled and disrupted and ruined a game to get here, and they've been destroyed by a side playing fast, attacking, watchable football.

This is a high point for football for me. Absolute humiliation for a side that has tried every dirty cheating diving trick in the book.

To be honest I dont care how Brazil got there, but in the Semi final I want to see a good competitive, tight, edge of seat game, not the ability to get on a high horse and talk about how football has won the day, as it really hasn't a non spectacle for one of the biggest games

Yup, a fantastic evening's sport. Absolutely quality play by the germans and wonderfully demoralising for the diving bigheads who hopefully realise you can't succeed on the coat-tails of hype alone. Cracking.

The biggest ever semi final win is a non spectacle for you? Well, good luck with that, I expect every other neutral probably loved it….

One way traffic, gutless performance from Brazil? How was it a spectacle? It was the biggest win and Germany deserved it but it looked more like an exhibition match than a semi final

Quarter finals, semis, and finals are all big games, and there's never a year when they're all great footballing spectacles. There's always a bit of cheating, poor reffing, one sided games or just plain shit football. Today was a spectacle for different reasons. It was no contest after half an hour, but it wasn't unique in that respect. Brazil are the greatest footballing nation ever, and that won't change just because of today's result, they'll be back.

But at least the team playing decent, honest football won this time. And that's where I want the future of football to be.

Tonight for Brazil. No dodgy ref. No dodgy penalties. No Neymar. No woodwork hit by the opponent. No chance.

Which is exactly what I am saying, yes I did want Brazil to win, but if Germany won a Klose game I would have felt a lot different at this point

You are quite strange, 8 goals in a world cup semi final and all the drama that came with it but you would rather see a tight 0-0 draw and penalties i imagine. You dont really like football do you?

Will Brazilians now stop their stupid love of singular footballing names like Clownio and fall in with the more global standard of having two, like David Losiz?

It's a spectacle because in all seriousness who expected that? It's like some kind of tragedy unfolding, an unprecedented capitulation that will be remembered for all of footballing eternity. You've not just watched a one sided game, you've watched an absolute humiliation on a scale never seen before. It was enthralling because it didn't look like ending, history unfolding before our eyes.

Incredible scenes. I do feel a bit sorry for you that you can't see it like that. Judging by the 2 threads tonight, most people have...

I love football, and football is not all about goals, yes in simple terms you need to score to win, but I love to see other aspects of the game which were non existent here

Is he really a footballer? That was brilliant.

Still laughing at that performance.
