It's a spectacle because in all seriousness who expected that? It's like some kind of tragedy unfolding, an unprecedented capitulation that will be remembered for all of footballing eternity. You've not just watched a one sided game, you've watched an absolute humiliation on a scale never seen before. It was enthralling because it didn't look like ending, history unfolding before our eyes.

Incredible scenes. I do feel a bit sorry for you that you can't see it like that. Judging by the 2 threads tonight, most people have...
Dont get me wrong I understand the significance and also agree it was not expected but it was not an "entertaining" game for me just 1 way traffic and embarrassing defending

Hansen is thinking about himself. He's tipped Brazil to win, it's his retirement, he looks like a completely clueless c8ck on his big bowing out of punditry. He knows this will stick every bit as his you don't win anything with kids.

This was a glorious night for football. Brazil fouled and disrupted and ruined a game to get here, and they've been destroyed by a side playing fast, attacking, watchable football.

This is a high point for football for me. Absolute humiliation for a side that has tried every dirty cheating diving trick in the book.

This with bells on.

:lolol:

Is he really a footballer? That was brilliant.

Still laughing at that performance.

i still dont understand how he has been given as much game time as he's had. does he have saucy pictures of Scolari? Ramires was a totally different kettle of fish and while not enough, certainly tried to play football. Hulk has looked shite all tournement. only reason he's not getting the award for worst Brazillian player is because, apparently, Fred was on the pitch too (you wont have noticed though)

Did you enjoy the Brazil v Colombia quarter final match more than tonight's game?

I love football, and football is not all about goals, yes in simple terms you need to score to win, but I love to see other aspects of the game which were non existent here

Oh well each to their own i suppose, really can't see which aspects of the game were not present for you this evening? Some of the German play was utterly sublime.

Did you miss the passing by the Germans, no showboating and the saves from the goalkeeper, to name just three other aspects?

For basically the while game there was only 1 team, they could pass all they wanted as there were trees on the pitch dressed in Brazilian shirts. There was no defense, no midfield battle.

In all honesty yes, I was much more on the edge of my seat, I wanted Colombia to win, especially with some of Brazils tactics, but I thoroughly enjoyed it all the same

Sorry but watching foul after foul is not my idea of an enjoyable football match, tonight I was entertained and not just by the goals.

Tonight was amazing, I'd love to see his stats, I don't think he managed to complete a single pass.

He cost Zenit €60m.

:lolol:

The only people I feel sorry for (apart from WakeyTom who's had a dreadful night apparently) are the poor Brazilians who spent out a fortune on their tickets.

And not a single own goal in the score of seven.

If I was a Brazilian I'd be livid with Luiz's performance tonight. He went out there as captain of his country in a home semi-final and not only let down millions of people, but displayed everything you don't want in a player also. Looked at times as if he'd simply given up, didn't even try and stop Klose for his goal (and that was only the second!) and was lucky not to be sent off for at least two elbows and an attempted swipe with the studs. I'd never want to see him in the shirt again.

Brighton - In your face
Brighton head coach Sami Hyypiä was followed by a very familiar in the German Cup semi-final performances in many other ways amazement. Germany crush Brazil's completely blown to smithereens numbers on a 7-1.
The great owl, the German expertise in the whole match was seen in a magnificent way.
- Germany played great. Simply this, Hyypiä said.
- They got it all look easy. Each ball found all the time in your player, and Germany played unbelievably intelligently.
Germany's hardly left no one indifferent, to the extent it was convincing.
- All strengths of Germany were now being raised. Playing a team work, a tactical game was very smart and in addition to the German player was reflected in the strength of the material, Hyypiä said.
- The German victory was not a surprise, at least not for me, but the way it came really surprised.

Is this a Google translation of something Hyypia said in his own first language?
