Can understand how he is feeling. He actually looked quite emotional in the interview. Very difficult for non-work life if the work for whatever reason turns bad, as it clearly did for him under Sami. Bound to be very unsettling, not knowing whether he was going to be in Brighton or Sheffield from one day to the next. Hope he cements a first team/match day squad place quickly, then he and his family can have some certainty on their immediate future and get properly settled.

That's how I see it rather than just wanting back to Yorkshire. He's obviously very much a family bloke and having made the decision to up sticks and move South then no sooner done than he's being shunted back North while still in the process of moving South

No doubt he'll also be getting grief from the Mrs and as he said (something like) "why am I bothering doing this?"

For me it's not that he just wants back North he just wants to be settled (I guess as much as any footballer can expect to be) and play football

You just want to spoil the mood don't you! grrrr!!!

No, you are right. More time is needed and really we are in no position to judge Chris and the team at this early stage but at least there is some optimism now and that's good. Let's really judge Chris and Sami later in the season... but for now... we've just won a game we didn't expect to win so HUGHTON!!!! FOOTBALL GENIUS!!!! ;)

We will judge Hughton later in the season. As far as Hyypia is concerned, the verdict was reached some time ago ( in my case...early November ) It is clear when a manager is out of his depth and powerless to change anything. He realised this himself and did the decent thing and resigned. It was never going to improve. Massive damage was done to the confidence of players and to the confidence of fans. The only judging to do about Hyypia is to question why he didn't go earlier and the apparent faith that the board continued to show in him.
In a very short space of time we have a feel good factor back again. We can see light at the end of the tunnel. Roll on Charlton ( and I wouldn't have been saying that if SH had still been in charge )
