Anyone not watching this match, you're missing a treat. England scored a fantastic own goal to put the Germans back ahead and then England smashed one in off a German defender's face. Currently 2-2.
Shocker! Ten-man England win 3-2 to get their first points in the competition.

A summary of Monday's action:-

Simon Adingra started for the Ivory Coast, was booked on 38 minutes and was subbed off on 65 minutes as they beat Gambia 2-0 in their World Cup qualifier.

Yasin Ayari started for the Sweden U-21s and played 81 minutes; he provided an assist as they lost 4-2 to the Netherlands in a UEFA 2025 U-21 European Championship Group C qualifier.

James Beadle played the whole match for the England U-20 side as they beat Germany 3-2 (despite being reduced to ten men) to earn their first points in the European Elite League.

And so to the final day of international action on Tuesday. Albion have a plethora of players in various squads and so there is every chance that more first team players (or their potential replacements) will pick up injuries:-

Bart Verbruggen should be keeping goal and twiddling his thumbs for the Netherlands as they finish their qualifying campaign in Portugal (against Gibraltar).

Joao Pedro may (or may not) get the call from Brazil as they face Argentina in a tasty World Cup qualifier at the Maracana.

Pascal Gross, who sat out the defeat to Turkey, may be called upon by Germany as they play a friendly in Austria.

Who knows if Evan Ferguson is fit and available for the ROI as they host New Zealand in a friendly. Andrew Moran may get a call.

Facundo Buonanotte and the Argentinian U-23s play their second friendly in Japan.

Killian Cahill will be hoping to be included in the matchday squad for the ROI U-21s as they host Italy in a qualifier.

Kacper Kozlowski and the Poland U-21s travel to Germany for a qualifier.

Ruairi McConville and the Northern Ireland U-21s play England at Goodison Park in a qualifier.

Mark O'Mahony and the ROI U-19s face Belgium in Albania in their crucial qualifier.

Jack Hinshelwood and Joshua Duffus are with the England U-19s as they play their third and final friendly out in Malaga against Mexico.

Adam Brett will be hoping for a start for the Wales U-17s as they host Gibraltar in their final qualifier.

The (almost complete) summary of the final day of November international action:-

Bart Verbruggen played the whole match (and probably finished a couple of books) for the Netherlands as they beat Gibraltar 6-0 in a qualifier.

Pascal Gross spent the entire match on his arse as Germany lost again, this time 2-0 in Austria.

Evan Ferguson was patched up and came on as a 66th-minute substitute for the ROI in the incredibly important **checks notes**, er, friendly against New Zealand (which finished 1-1). Thanks Stephen Kenny, you soon-to-be ex-football manager.

Andrew Moran also came on in the above match as a 79th-minute substitute.

The Argentinian U-23 side drew 0-0 with Japan in their second friendly. I don't think Facundo Buonanotte started, and I'm not sure if he played any minutes (I'm sure I read the other day that this "match" would be more like 3 [30 minute?] periods although I couldn't re-find that article just now).

Kacper Kozlowski started and played 87 minutes as the Poland U-21s lost 3-1 in Germany in their qualifier.

Ruairi McConville made his debut and played the whole match for the Northern Ireland U-21s as they lost their qualifier 3-0 against England at Goodison Park.

Killian Cahill was, once again, not included in the matchday squad as the ROI U-21s drew 2-2 at home to Italy in their qualifier.

Mark O'Mahony played the whole match for the ROI U-19s as they lost 1-0 to Belgium in Albania and failed to progress to the Elite Round.

Jack Hinshelwood and Joshua Duffus each played 45 minutes as the England U-19 side beat Mexico 7-1 at the Marbella Football Center; Hinshelwood started the match and Duffus came on at half-time.

Adam Brett came on as a 69th-minute substitute as the Wales U-17s beat Gibraltar 4-0 and progressed to the Elite Round.

17 touches in the whole match, and 16/16 accurate passes. Faced 0 (zero) shots and made only a single (1) goal kick...

They all count!

That's now 2 clean sheets in 2 full international appearance for Bart....

(...let's ignore that he faced about two shots in total across the two matches, and that he threw in an absolute howler against the Irish, but got rescued by an offside flag...)
