Looks like Fergie up against Bart tonight in the game Ireland want to lose to have a chance of qualifying for the Euros.
Hope he is fit
......."But Brighton forward Evan Ferguson is available despite a back problem."

Oh dear, don't like the sound of that! Hope he doesn't make it worse.
Edit: and Moran on the bench, may make his debut
Excellent - good luck to the lad if he gets some game time.

Ireland have created jack. Fergie has been running the channels now and again but the service is zero.
The Dutch are dominant and a class above, Bart has a cigar on.
Nice to see those perspex screens again.

A summary of all the Albion international action from Saturday:-

Bart Verbruggen started and played the whole match as the Netherlands beat the ROI in their EURO 2024 qualifier.

Evan Ferguson started for the ROI but was subbed off on 55 minutes. Andrew Moran was an unused substitute.

Pascal Gross was an unused substitute for Germany as they were beaten 3-2 at home in a friendly by Turkey.

Facundo Buonanotte started for the Argentina U-23s and played 60 minutes as they lost 5-2 away to Japan in a friendly.

Mark O'Mahony started for the ROI U-19s and played 89 minutes as they drew 0-0 with Slovenia in their second qualifier.

Joshua Duffus started for the England U-19 side and played 63 minutes as they beat Japan 3-2 in a friendly in Malaga.

Jack Hinshelwood came on as a 63rd-minute substitute in the above game.

Adam Brett was, I believe, an unused substitute as the Wales U-17 side scored a stoppage time winner to beat Belgium 1-0 in their qualifier.

Apparently a bit of anger in Ireland that Moran was pulled out of an important U21 game on Friday, which they lost, to end up sitting on the bench in a meaningless game for the seniors.
I don't think Kenny is long for his job.

There is limited opportunity for Albion involvement on Monday; it is the calm before the storm, with multiple players potentially in action on Tuesday.

Monday's preview:-

Simon Adingra and the Ivory Coast face Gambia in a World Cup CAF qualifier (the match is nominally a home match for Gambia but will be played in Tanzania).

Yasin Ayari and the Swedish U-21s host the Netherlands in an U-21 Championship qualifier.

James Beadle and the England U-20 side travel to Germany for a European Elite League fixture.

FFS, been saying for weeks he needs a proper rest from club and international games. He’s played far too much football this year for his age and size.
Made even more stupid by the fact that Ireland needed to lose the game you stand a chance of qualifying under the stupid qualification routes

James Beadle has started for the England U-20 side in their European Elite League fixture in Germany. A quarter of an hour in, Germany lead 1-0. (I hope there is no relegation into the European Mediocre League in this competition, for England's sake).

There is a free stream so you can watch Beadle make save after save after save....

Anyone not watching this match, you're missing a treat. England scored a fantastic own goal to put the Germans back ahead and then England smashed one in off a German defender's face. Currently 2-2.
