The Avenue then Maloncho
As tempting as Peacehaven v Eastbourne Town is with its half price entry for Albion STHs and a FREE pint of lager for the first 150 punters, last nights skinful lead to a change of plan, I’m now of to support Worthing away at Slough in the FA Cup

I have made my way to hungerford town v Gloucester city in the fa cup. Quite entertaining and 1-1 at HT. With a pint on the halfway line

Dreadful game at the Pan ends 1-1. Ex Lewes player Pamment scored after a chuff up from Nelson, who after being mostly decent this season lost it completely. Razz-coleman scored a brilliant last minute equaliser for the Rooks. One of the worst games I've ever seen due to Lewes forgetting how to play, an incredibly pedantic ref, yet one who did nothing about the insanely bad and obvious timewasting. Lots of bad temper and a fifteen jostle at the end.

Lewes 1-1 against Three Bridges in the FA Cup, decent crowd of 1,178, probably 1000 more than I see at Newhaven :)
Nice to go back to The Dripping Pan and see the new pitch and some ground improvements, good idea to have standing at the foot of the grass bank.
Pleased when Lewes got the equaliser, definitely a cracking goal, honestly thought they were going to score before that. I probably enjoyed the match more than you keaton as I haven’t watched Lewes for at least 3 years. One of my sons said it was an entertaining match.
Can’t say I was impressed with the ref or some of the stroppy Three Bridges players though, hope Lewes stuff them in the replay.

Edit - Lee Dixon was at the match.

It was pretty dreadful ... only got interesting after three Bridges scored. Yes, the ref was pretty bad and Three Bridges knew what they were doing wasting time ... but Lewes were shocking for most of the game.

Glad you enjoyed yourself. It wasn't without entertainment but I can't remember ever seeing a worse Lewes performance and I've been going for 7 years and a season ticket holder for 5 of them. I was ecstatic at the equiliser, but mainly as it meant I wouldn't have to suffer a similar performance at home to Aveley on Tuesday night as that's when the replay will be

Yeah I couldn't go today but my mole says we were terrible and that 3B could have had a few. Delighted to push Aveley back until Tony has sorted them all out a bit cause its erratic as **** at the moment.

3B is a nice ground to visit though so I'm all in for the replay. Saw them stuff Worthing a couple of years ago in a match which featured the best save I've ever seen in real life.

I would be tempted by Tuesday's game if today wasn't so bad and if I wasn't a bit ill. Suffering today without a beer was bad enough

After a cracking day out at Banbury 2 weeks ago ,it's back to Shots action tomorrow v Halifax . Its live on BT at 17.20 if you want to be entertained.

Jolly enjoyable match. I was at The Rec for the Halifax match in 1992. I still have the last ever Aldershot FC shirt in the cupboard.

I thought Lewes played some nice football at times but with no end product, the finishing was very poor.

The optimistic me awaits the return of Champo (last seen demolishing the largest hotdog ever registered at Horsham) and Young (last seen swanning off with Muggers to Budapest for Enland 6 a side 'duty')

They have both been missed. Young especially today, all three in midfield that are good players but none of them were showing for the ball or moving when the back four had it
