I remember when we seemed to play Brentford on quite a few occasions during the Early nineties. We would always get the end of terrace under roof and behind the goal. A friend of mine was so pissed he was fell asleep standing up, but due to it being packed like sardines, nobody noticed.

I've never seen you sober at an away game ;)

I've never seen you at a home game.

Strangely enough considering our match today, it was at a Leeds game at White Hart Lane (1969)
I had had quite a few and just do not remember the first half at all.
All I can remember is that my (then) fiance was stopped by a bloke outside and asked if we wanted tickets for the seats instead of the terraces and we paid £1 each. They were genuine tickets.
The result was 1-1.
We went back to the pub afterwards to resume the drinking.

I'll live up to my description,I don't drink before games. I either celebrate a win or drown my sorrows afterwards.

ok, first post here goes!
Mine wold be the Swindon play off game at Withdean,
A bit of a stag day, on the train to London at 8.30, drinking champagne. To Lords for 1st day of test V kiwis. Drinking champers and pimms all day. On train to birghton at 5 ish, more champers, into preston park hotel, few pints, brought random tramp alcohol and then skipped off to the withdean. Now lashing it down with rain, me and mates wearing shorts and t shirts!

Stood soaked in despair, but thoroughly hammered. results of day best summed up on page 78 of the albions play off book!!

:drink: :clap2:
ahh, that feels better!

The last game at the Goldstone we started in Brighton at 10.30 and did a mass pub crawl, then walked to the ground stopping at every pub on the way .We had a police van on our case but managed to foil them.Basically none of us can remmember much about that day.
