I'd happily live in a society that sentenced Breivik to death, sleep at night perfectly well, and yes, happily kick the stool away. Hell, I'd buy tickets for a lottery where that was the prize, and the proceeds went to the families.

As for the child rapists, yeah, string them up too. I would have absolutely no problem with that at all.

Not such a big thing in my life that I would up sticks and move my whole family somewhere that has the Death Penalty, for that reason, and that reason alone ... but should it ever come to the vote here, I would vote YES.

Btw, when people say about innocent people being victims when you have the death penalty, I didn't realise that referred to people standing behind careless axemen.

Murder is rare in Norway, they have a very Liberal system where people are not as interested in punishment and revenge as say the US which lock people up for life and even take life. Which country has a better crime rate? Which country is a safer place to live in?

I wasn't suggesting it acts as a deterrent, as I think the vast majority of people sick enough to do crimes such as his, are waaaay beyond the capacity for the logical thought process of a deterrent anyway. Just saying, I would have no problem sleeping, let alone living with what I've done, if I kicked the stool away from beneath the feet of Breivik.
