Lol you’re joking. It’s no better than bang on average.

Is there better stuff on offer in Palace Hospitality? They do serve the occasional glass of wine there I assume?

I think the cheeses are Shropshire Blue, Tunworth and Sussex Charmer

One was definitely Sussex Charmer. I really wish I’d kept the menu as I’m struggling to remember much about the details of the food.

According to the online menu, it was:

Salmon gravadlax, smoked trout and smoked halibut
Celeriac remoulade, pickled baby peppers, dill mayonnaise, cucumber, pumpernickel toast

Roast British beef sirloin
Potato dauphinoise, maple glazed carrot and parsnips, onion caramel, garlic kale, beef gravy

English farmhouse cheese selection
Mature cheddar, Blacksticks blue and
Oxford soft
Served with artisan crackers, grapes, chutney and celery

That sounds about right

And you’re obviously are better at searching the net than me!

Whilst we all had a fun afternoon two disappointments were

1) The complimentary drinks are more limited than last season. For me this was noticeable by Ridgeview Sussex Sparkling Wine being removed from the list. And there were no team sheets given out which left us struggling to get the news off the web with the associated problems you have at the stadium.

But my friend, on his first visit to Brighton, the Frau, Uter and one other had a brilliant time.

Special mention to Anthonio the manager, he is a legend.

Maybe. But I like to have fun and enjoy myself with friends. And Saturday afternoon ticket both boxes.

Post match was Bison Beer Bar, Brighton Bier Haus and The Cloakroom. So far it has been a very wet January for me.
