Call that a Cheeseboard? I'd starve to death with portions like that...
As was that slither of salmon starter, Herr Tubby would never be errr . . . Tubby if he just relied on eating that.

I think the cheeses are Shropshire Blue, Tunworth and Sussex Charmer
But yes, any decent place will serve at ambient temperature.
Ha ha. I’d not spotted that.
That wine is excellent, good choice
Is that a 'duo' of Gravad Lax for the starter?

Lol you’re joking. It’s no better than bang on average.

Nor me.
I bet it cost a tad more than £6.54 for a bottle of 3* wine mind.

One was definitely Sussex Charmer. I really wish I’d kept the menu as I’m struggling to remember much about the details of the food.
According to the online menu, it was:
Salmon gravadlax, smoked trout and smoked halibut
Celeriac remoulade, pickled baby peppers, dill mayonnaise, cucumber, pumpernickel toast
Roast British beef sirloin
Potato dauphinoise, maple glazed carrot and parsnips, onion caramel, garlic kale, beef gravy
English farmhouse cheese selection
Mature cheddar, Blacksticks blue and
Oxford soft
Served with artisan crackers, grapes, chutney and celery
Bit mincey for football
Maybe. But I like to have fun and enjoy myself with friends. And Saturday afternoon ticked both boxes.
