Just got back from seeing America at the London Palladium. What a fabulous gig, great to see them still going strong after almost fifty years.

Idles

Time to give back to this forum.....

I have a spare ticket to IDLES gig at the Concorde next Sat for sale. A mate has double booked himself so now can’t go. Cost is £18 (face value inc. fees). Offers that exceed quoted price will be ignored. PM me.

It’s an e-ticket through Music Glue. I’ll email them to change the name on the ticket and then forward onto buyer.

Darius Rucker tonight at The Sage in Gateshead - will be the third time I've seen him, he's got a fantastic voice so I'm sure it'll be great again.

BC Camplight tonight at Green Door Store. Looking forward to this - his new record is excellent.

I thought that was great last night- can’t imagine he will be playing such a small venue next visit. I don’t know much from the previous album but on hearing a few last night I’ll have to have a listen.

Yeah was really good. Funny guy too. I first saw him at TGE in May; a mate dragged me along (he wasn’t on my to see list). Probably the best surprise of this years festival.

Idles on Sat up next.

A rare gig for me this year to see Canadian funk duo Chromeo and a venue I’ve never experienced before. Impressed with the Print Works which is near Canada Water tube station.

A few beers around Borough Market first. The Rake is a great place for craft beer.

Really liked the venue especially as they had a Beavertown bar.

Chromeo as usual were absolutely superb. With 5 albums plenty of hits to choose from and the crowd were really into it.

That’s me probably done for the year now so hopefully a busier 2019.
