Jools Holland again next week. Not a fantastic line-up, but for a freebie I'll take it: Ed Sheeran, Chrissie Hynde, White Denim, Kelis and Nick Mulvey.

Some good acts at the Number 6 Festival, and I am a huge Prisoner fan, but can't afford to drop £160 a ticket. Shame they don't do day tickets (as far as I'm aware).

My ticket says standing

I guess they are a bit too big for Concorde II, and not big enough for The Dome ???

Saying that, I don't know the capacity of Worthing

Larger than Concorde 2 I would say. That's only about 500.

Saw Nine Inch Nails at the LG in Birmingham last night. Surprisingly stripped down performance as a 4 piece and a more subdued light show than previous tours. Fantastic gig though.

Bo Ningen at Haunt last night. Might be the best rock band in the world at the moment. You think they've finished a massive riff, then an even more ridiculous one casually washes off it. Phenomenal live.

Peaches, tonight, is one of the few people who could match that for jaw-cracking shock, awe etc.

Factory Floor played a brilliant set, just 40 minutes long, but all the better for it.

I enjoyed it but was left wanting more. The first band who I don't know much about (except that they are Brighton based ) were brilliant and I meant to pick up one of their CDs on the way out but forgot.

They get better and better every time I see them and they were bloody amazing the first time. Absolutely outstanding band.

I caught them do the "sound carrying" for Damo Suzuki once. Genuinely one of the best things I've seen.

Would have liked to have gone to this. How is the new album sounding?
