Primavera gets Radiohead
Glastonbury gets LOLplay.

Aren't the Foo Fighters confirmed as well after last year's cancellation?

And people moaned about Kanye.

Foos not confirmed (shame as I actually haven't seen them!) Muse are strongly rumoured to be yet another Pramid rerun with Adele a longtime front runner too. That said Radiohead have entered the reckoning just a shame I have really got on with anything post-OKC.

With LCD Soundsystem, New Order and bizarrely Bring Me the Horizon rumoured for the Other Stage it looks like the variety will be elsewhere. Looking forward to ZZ Top though!

Apparently Last Shadow Puppets have self confirmed too.

LCD would be far more at home on West Holts imo.

Not sure they're a big enough concern to be a nighttime Other Stage act. Having said that in terms of commercial appeal it looks like jacking it in for 5 years was the best thing James Murphy ever did.

Adele & Coldplay. Christ.

Anyway, I'm back to trolling the line up this year as I'm not going. Don't mind me.

Gabrielle Aplin tonight in Bristol....a bit gentle but may provide some eye candy with her lovely legs.

I went and watched British Sea Power at Glastonbury when the White Stripes were playing. Not because I don't like White Stripes but by then I had enough of the crowds and I love Seapower. By Sunday you may feel the same and plenty else going on.

Agreed, quite happy to be honest, too easy sometimes to catch the pyramid headliners

I think you will be able to fill your trolling boots this year, carry on! :)

Ezra Furman tomorrow at C2- even though Pins, Savages and Wave Pictures all playing the same night. Spoilt as always.

On a different note, Laurie Anderson is curating this year's Brighton Festival. As usual, the music doesn't quite do it for me, although I will be going to see Phronesis. Tindersticks are playing The Dome too.
There is a really interesting range of theatre, and other performances, including Complicite/Simon McBurney.

Just back from Grimes. Played for an hour and mainly the new album. I do like her new album and she channels the energetic bedroom Maria/Madonna on stage quite well with an extra musician and two dancers. It's a bit rough at the edges pop, but good fun. Really respectable crowd as well.

Savages/ Bo Ningen in Bexhill tonight.

Were any other Sea Power fans at their debut gig at the first Krankenhaus? They were a late replacement for someone who I can't remember now.

I was at the back getting pissed, pausing every now and then to comment that the noise emanating from the stage was 'quite good.'

The Sea Power have always been able to pick a support.

True, they were scheduled to play a gig in High Wycombe many years ago with a band called The Killers. Gig was cancelled due to one Seapower chap hurting his arm.

Y Niwl were the band they replaced and how fortunate we were. Over four years ago now- how time flies.
