Labour - The Nasty Party. Wow ! How quickly we forget Home Office Minister Theresa May's "Hostile Environment " which was likened to "'Almost reminiscent of Nazi Germany" by a former Civil Service chief. And now a Prime Minister.

I expect you think it a shame that Corbyn can't pull off the same trick.

There can be more than one nasty party

Don't you think it a little strange all this desperation to smear Corbyn and the Labour Party since he was elected leader ? Remember, this was a man who was arrested for protesting against Apartheid long before Theresa May suddenly discovered her respect for Nelson Mandela while trying to desperately line up a trade deal with South Africa.

I have a feeling that JC wouldn't have embraced austerity and the scandalous cuts in disability benefits and grants to local government among dozens of other cuts to welfare and services that the Tories have been getting away with since 2010.

You stick to what you think you know and lets hope don't get ill, don't lose your job, don't have children in the education system and are some way off getting old.

Crikey you are so desperate for something to beat Corbyn with its laughable. All this inferred anti-Semitism about the phraseology of Labour party rules beggars belief, obviously we have to be so careful that the wrong comma or word might upset or offend a Jewish person living here that we can't find time to criticise the state of Israel for shooting unarmed protesting men women and children from 400 yards behind a wire fence. Do get a grip.

Post 3305... those news stories are just misplaced commas or words then I guess.
There is nothing stopping you from criticizing the state of Israel. Just don't tar a whole race of people as being part of a conspiracy. It's pretty easy. I'm sure you don't do it but you are defending people who do.

Lets go back through my post so you don't misunderstand and get offended. The Labour Party are struggling to sort an agreed form of words regarding policy on anti-Semitism. Currently there seems to be some Jewish people living here who are concerned and offended by this process. However, none of them have been subjected to the regular treatment of Palestinians who through no fault of their own have been told they are effectively stateless.

i do think this anti-semitism has become overblown. its also a distraction for the media who should be highlighting Corbyn support for Venezuela and their state-controled economic policies, and how well that expeirment in socialism is going.

You are missing the point. The labour party, well specifically it's leader and some extreme left wing members and Momentum members have been caught either on video or other people present at meetings etc have spoken up to complain about the derogatory use of language aimed at Jewish people. Incidently Jewish people make up approx 1/2 of one percent of the UK population so they are actually one of the smallest minorities out of all the minority groups.

I'm not sure why anyone would try to link the action of the current Israeli Prime minister regarding his strategy in dealing with the Israeli/ Palestinian issue with what is happening within the labour party and is horrendous attitude some of its members seem to adopt against Jewish people.

I stress that this is a minority within the labour party but it is the same minority that seem to be the closest to Corbyn.

This minority is the extreme left wingers almost you could day communist.

Most of the decent more mainstream labour mps want nothing to do with the extremists surrounding Corbyn.

No wonder Corbyn loves chats and meetings with various terrorist groups.

The sooner he goes the better for everyone.

How is it going down there? Similar to The Tory's backed Saudi Arabia or are the dead Yemini's/equivalents on target?

I'm not an apologist for the repulsive Saudis but they haven't pissed away their Oil Revenues for no gain like the Comrades in Venezeula nor do I see I mass exodus of their people to neighbouring states. Yet another example of how Jezza has his finger on the political pulse...

well inflation is running at 13000% and they have recently launched their second new currency this year to attempt to control the economy. so much for the fight against neoliberal economics.

Good to hear. I'm not an obsessive follower of Latin American countries I've never been to. Thanks for the ex-pat update though anyway. I'll have to consider the oil wealth in Rye Bay and what Peter Chowney will do with it if he wins Hastings & Rye in the next election very carefully now.

Thanks - If The Green Party stand down in Hastings & Rye in the next election, like they did last time, on the basis of Labour implementing Marxism here on their behalf, I'll be in a pickle because I'm no fan of Amber Rudd either.

I think there are probably people in Venezuela highlighting the cuts in welfare, health care and social services and the increase in homelessness and poverty in the 5th largest economy in the world and suggesting that the experiment with capitalism in the UK is not going too well either.

. They may even have noticed that the newly elected Prime Minister of the UK said she wanted " An economy that works for everyone ". She may be hopeless when it comes to achieving that however since big business has reminded her of who is really in charge.

no need to be obessive to have an interest in international affairs. Corbyn and friends have been very keen on the example set by Chavez and now Maduro in running a socialist country, thats pretty much what they have planned for us should they win an election.
