At the one we went to, maybe half the people there (or slightly less) were buying tickets for their 3+ as well as for themselves.

They may well have sold 700 but that must include the VIPs that had already booked surely? There was at least three presentations yesterday.

It was a very busy place last night! One of the busiest blocks seemed to be the blue D block, lower tier West Stand, towards the North Stand. The back 4 or 5 rows were solid. As was the blue D block towards the away stand.

Places with lots of availability were North and East. Most people seem keen on West.

Does anyone know when the first tranche of existing season ticket holders (the people who have had a season ticket every year at Withdean) will have had their presentations? I'm in that category and don't get the chance until Friday 21 January.

To be frank Lord B, it's disgrace that you and others in the Falmer For All team etc were not in the VIP presentation. Surely you and other guys should have the pick of where you sit. Or did that opportunity go when you failed to set yourself on light and test whether someone would piss on you?

Totally agree. People like Lord B have kept this Club alive, not Mr J. Come-Lately from 1901.

Now I guess, but I thought I read that they were being done in block order within this group.

I have had a season ticket every year in the North stand at Withdean and don't even get to go til the 25th? :glare:

(Was awarded with a North stand seat when we moved to Withdean having been a season ticket holder for 20 years including Gillingham)

Work that one out? :angry::angry:

They really know how to reward loyalty at this club - its quite unbelievable and upsetting for some of the others around us in Block L who have similarly supported non-stop throughout the difficult times.

To hear people gloating about getting the best seats when we are still 2 weeks away is gutting to say the least! :angry::angry::angry:

I must say that some people that are going to their presentations (10 year plus season tickets holders) are using their +3 to buy for less than 10 year season ticket holders anyway. There is going to be plenty of room for all current season ticket holders and most will get to sit pretty much where they want.

I think there are over 2000 people who have had a season ticket for 9 or more years. They are only getting through 160 people a day so it would take around three weeks to get through everyone in this group. As they decided to allocate the appointments by Withdean block number, rather than first come first served, some people ended up at the back of the queue simply by having the misfortune to be in the "wrong" block at Withdean. I guess you must fall into this category.

According to BBC Sussex 700 season tickets sold on day 1. You may draw your own conclusions.

Not wishing to scare monger but is there a chance that some current STHs won't get a ticket for Falmer?
