Near Dorchester, Dorset
Roast Shoulder of Pork (crackling looking great)
Roast spuds (and a few sweet potatoes for Mrs TRHK)
Carrots
Tenderstem brocolli
Cauliflower cheese
Red cabbage
Home made apple sauce
Gravy from the meat juices

Followed by apple crumble (or cold tomorrow if we can't fit it in)

Washed down with some fruity rose.

Heaven.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
I have a £1.25 one-man quiche to warm and some potatoes to boil gingerly. A tin of mushy peas, a teaspoon of unkerried mayo and nosh away i shall as the tv hacks rumbles impolitely in the background. A reasonable Sunday night 'fore another pre-crimbo week of stomach-swelling supping and chin-chin-chinning.

Disagree with that. Many different ingrediants to prepare, hours to do, lots of washing up. It's behind pretty much any pasta dish and anything involving rice in terms of time and effort

Meat, 2 veg and some spuds?

Takes 15 mins when you know what your doing. Bung it in the oven and leave it until its time to put the kettle on for the gravy and dish up. Put washing up in a dishwasher.

Done.

Big Mac, Large Fries and a Large Coke with a Brownie for lunch. All paid for. By the taxpayer*

*I assume McDonalds is A taxpayer so its not an incorrect statement!

My dad is doing pasta bake from scratch for us tonight which is going to be so nice!

Chicken dopiaz...first time I have tried to cook it and it did look a bit odd in the pan, the yoghurt seemed to separate, but have stuck it in a pot and put it in the oven anyway. Will be eating it with rice and chapattis.

had to drive from the Midlands down to Gatwick then over to South Wales and back to the Midlands today. Before leaving the house at 4am I put a pot roast in the oven and it was ready when I got back this afternoon - delish!
