Started a mammoth cycle (ok, 7 miles) to go to work, but got a message half way into the journey telling me to turn around. Still a nice cycle, if not a little cold.

Had a great walk to Hove Sation this morning (just like beinmg a kid again) to be told no trains at all. The only time I've ever been glad to work in East Croydon.

Just hope they don't dock it as a day of annual leave.

When left the house didnt realise how bad the snow was. Coombe Road/Bear road are both impassable and Soutover street there were abandoand cars at the bottom. Saw a shunt between two vans and a delivery lorry stuck outside the AMEX building unable to get up Edward Street

there was a transit van trying to drive up the hill from Withdean stadium, he didnt get very far before screaming "f***ing c**t" at his vehichle and having to slide back down to the bottom
