Suddenly switching to working from home at the start of January doesn't seem such a great idea! Before Christmas I wouldn't have made it in to London in this snow but now I have no excuses!!
My job entails calling businesses, mainly in London, so I'm hoping calling for an hour and finding noone has made it in means I can down tools for the day and do some "researching" on the internet instead

Not planning to go anywhere, but just got an email from work "roads passable with care, see you later".

I replied to point out that whilst he has a 4 x 4, I do not. My kids school is closed and it's snowing heavily again.

How do yo know it's closed? Did you phone up and ask reception to see if it's closed? Did they say 'Don't come in, because I'm not here...'?
