Ah I see the prospective new American owners, current minority owners of the now asset stripped Philadelphia 76ers, have maintained their run.

Following on from losing the first 17 NBA games last season, then climbing to the dizzying heights of W 18 L 64.

The asset stripped and former NBA giant 76ers lost last night and are currently at 0-9.
The only team in the NBA without a win, so far this season.

God it's hard work with you guys.

2011/12 season - Philly reach play offs.
2012/13 season Philly end 34 - 48

Then your knights in shining armour arrive.
Asset strip the club &

2013/14 19-63
2014/15 18-64 having lost the first 17 games of that season
2015/16 0-9

So their record since arriving at a play off team currently stands at:-

won 37 lost 136

With all player assets stripped from the club.

Don't say you haven't been warned.

Sow how do "draft" and "relegation" fit into your neat equation?

How does:-

Off loading all high earners.
Replacing them with rookies.
No inward investment.
Happy to preside over multiple losing seasons.

Equate to pushing for Europe and building an expensive 40,000 seater stadium.

Just because they are minority owners in American sports doesnt make them good owners.

Just look at the two bottom clubs with American owners Villa and Sunderland, there doing well with the American investment aren't they?

Interestingly I see the Palace Rivals Millwall have had an American owner since 2007, they have also done well since he took control.

I'd be interested to know if Villa & Sunderland's owners are taking money out of their respective clubs?

I know Sunderland is a black hole for cash, poor investments and high wages, but have no idea about Villa.
If I had to guess I'd say there was some 'profit' there, unless they are still in the pooh from Martin O'Neil overreaching.

You've already explained where they fit into your view. And avoided engaging with the differences between US sport and the Premier League, or apparently read and understood the nature of the deal that is being worked on.

But do carry on, your attempts to project anti-Palace wish-fulfillment are most entertaining.

Finally, Christ how long did that take to work out?
What were you expecting green eyed jealousy?

I don't give a rats about these clowns, just having some fun.
Yet I'm supposed to justify an anti palace agenda on an Albion message board.

FWIW I'd be suspicious of anyone wanting a piece of any Premier League club from the moment that last TV deal was signed.
You (palace fans) should be too.
Far reaching and tough questions should be asked by everybody.

Why should anyone be against you taking the piss, it's funny.

You're also funny trying to be taken seriously at the same time. No surprise that the real debate is taking place elsewhere.

Oh I almost forgot.
Again on national TV on Friday there were calls for relegation to be introduced into the NBA, just so your prospective new owners team, the 76ers, could then be relegated.

Do you think the American owners will introduce drums, flying eagles, goal music, a naff pop song to run out to, and a team who have to be "winners" before anyone will turn up..?.. Oh already there. A perfect match, the American's will be right at home.

That's all good but I won't be celebrating till the hf release a statement on wether they are happy with the 2 new owners or not
