It was Thursday you NINNY.

Come on - who's organising the NSC Coach? Surely they MUST be the ones who bring it. If we can just confirm that, then it's a simple matter of finding volunteers in the lower tier outside the ground.

If it is stored at Hove station - IT WILL BE CARRIED ON THE NSC COACH - but we are all N1 crew, maybe they will let us into the lower tier to place it then go to our seats - who knows....

I will be a little busy personally on Sunday but I'm sure there will be plenty of volunteers...

Cheers

James

Yes I do to be honest. Ideally I think Ed could get hold of his railway contacts and put it on that. Any chance m'Lord?

To be honest, I really do think the only issues to deal with here are:
Transport to & from Cardiff - presumably the same method
Getting the flag to the transport AFTER the game (and back to Brighton Station?)
Arranging collection from the station back into storage

We will have no problem finding volunteers to take the flag from the carpark/train station to the ground. At the very worst, the people on the coach/train frog march it to a pub full of Albion and get some volunteers there. Nor will there be any shortage of people in the lower tier prepared to take it in and look after it.

It would be ideal. But we're lucky to have it there at all.

It's going to ROCK!! The camera will pan onto this MASSIVE flag, the BIGGEST flag ever seen at a live televised football match in this country surely?

On behalf of NSC.

Dear Mr Evans

My name is Gareth Glover and I am the chairman of The Robert Eaton Memorial Fund.

I am asking if you could possibly reconsider not allowing the flag on Sunday.

The flag is called The Robert Eaton Memorial Flag. Robert Eaton was an avid Brighton supporter who tragically lost his life in the terrorist attacks in New York on 11/9/01. Brighton fans and friends thought the way of remembering Robert and the poignant way would be to buy the flag in his memory.

Fans from all over the country chipped in to buy the flag which cost £ 2000. This is the first opportunity to show the flag in a national stadium and we all feel part of Robert will be with us on Sunday if we can take the flag there in his honour.

His parents who know well of the flag as it received a lot of local media coverage would be moved to see the flag at the stadium on such a memorable day.

The website is www.remf.net

This is very important to us. Please reconsider as it is not just a flag but a memory of a lost and loved fan.

Kind regards.

Well done Simster and Roz and all of NSC. United, never defeated again !.
