Marvellous Scenes - The Giant Flag Is Back On!!!

GET IN!!!!!!!!!!

Right, I've just spoken to CAROLINE who works with the Operations Manager (Geriant Evans) and she says that as long as we have met all the safety criteria (which we have and I've told her we faxed them the safety certificate) we CAN take the flag into the stadium.

There is ONE condition - it MUST go in the lower tier and I have had to send an email to them confirming it will only go in the lower tier.

Whether you want to sneak it into the North Stand on the day itself I don't know but IT CAN BE THERE.

Marvellous scenes. :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Gareth Glover and I both composed crawly bumlick e-mails, and I've since spent all afternoon trying to get hold of Mr Evans, but managed to get through to Caroline instead.

But it'll only have been worth it if we can get the arrangements sorted!

Can we have an update on travel arrangements - and we'll be needing volunteers in the lower tier to get it sorted.

It needs to be got there. Ideally by people who will take responsibility for it being collected from Withdean, get it to its transport, look after it en route, get it into the stadium (liaising with the stadium staff as necessary) and to where it will start its overhead journey, supervise its journey, collect it at the end of the match, bag it up and bring it home.

Who has a ticket in the Lower Tier?

I have confirmed with the operator of the Seagull Special train (English Welsh & Scottish Railways) that it will not be travelling on that train. Too late to change that, I'm afraid.

James Mc may be able to take it on his coach. But is he carrying Lower Tier people?

We still have an option open to store it overnight on Saturday at Hove Station, if necessary.

STEP FORWARD SOMEONE TO ORGANISE IT!
