I voted remain but accept Brexit as we are a democracy and not North Korea.

Perhaps a lot of people had zero faith in Labour to deliver it.

Labour win Newcastle Central - well done

I say a similar thing to Brexit friends. I do think it will damage our economy, depending on the deal, but who am I to arrogantly think that their judgement is inferior.

Really depressed right now. Never thought we could be as stupid as America but apparently we are. We fall for the sound bites, Make America Great Again worked in the USA. Get it done worked in the UK.
In a way I am not surprised by a nation that voted for Boaty McBoatface.
**** that, I am staying in Spain as long as I can. Good luck you lot.

Labour needed to be better though.

The BREXIT Party may not have won any seats but they have certainly fooked Labour.

No sensible person wants to see any of those things, but people differ in their judgement of issues, and how to address them. It seems the public have spoken, perhaps the left need to accept the decision of the electorate, and then go and take a long look at why they are proven to be unelectable in their current state?

Fat chance .... it's always the electorates fault, or the media or a global capitalist/zionist conspiracy :shootself

Nah. I'm not buying it. I was a staunch defender of brexiters having been one.

Having a tory leader, who called black people n*****s and coons, news controlling the media and demonised migrants. For that mentality to resonate, it has to have a racist mind to resonate in.

Plus of course the Labour hatred of Jews in the party or just around in north London, 1,000’s of cases being investigated, with a weak as dishwater self-policing until it damaged the party. A deliberate conflating of Zionism and the entire Jewish ethnic group, disgraceful.

Racists in both parties, at both extremes.

But that does not make half the country racist, because they don’t agree with you that the UK should be a member of the EU.
