It doesn't really surprise me, many have said that they can't vote for Corbyn, but it's much more than I thought it would be.
And there was me thinking the public loved our NHS, silly me.
I have been saying for a long time that the majority of the British public are ignorant and feckless.
What more proof do you need.
Still, you all watch what happens now, we will regret this massive mistake.

If we ever manage to come together as a nation again it will be down to the emotional intelligence of the people; no doubt Johnston will claim it as his own achievement... but the lying, duplicitous PM will be lying again.

Corbyn and Momentum should hang their heads in shame. And so should those supporters who have filled this thread with vile vitriol. The Tories should have been unelectable but they will be in control for at least another 5 years because there has been no viable opposition and their whole mantra has been one of hate and division. This is not just a Brexit result it is an anti Marxist result.
For the sake of the country I pray that labour wake up and change. Please give us a proper choice next time! But I have a feeling the loonies have taken control over the asylum and won’t be removed.

That's not what this election result is going to say as I predicted the silent majority showing their voice when needed

Exactly we've put up and shut up for the last 3 years. How can he say the country is divided. If that poll is correct the country is more United than ever.

I still think you need to go back to school.....

Why?

Oh shut up!

This country has never been more divided and never less Great...

I have every right to rub all the bubbleheads noses in it the way they have ripped into me.

But I will rise above this outburst as I am sure it's just an initial disappointment.

Can we all be friends now?

A majority as projected could mean Labour out for 10 years, I hope the hard left are happy. This country will not vote in a Labour party dominated by the extreme left. Never.

Some of them are so deluded they would rather have a hard left opposition than a Blairite moderate government.

So please F*** off and form your own Marxist party and leave the Labour party to the electable moderates.

The socialist dream is over I guess. Labour will probably return to a centre left party similar to the Blair era.

That, or die.

Got to get rid of Jezza and his carnival of fools, first.

Oh, John McDonnel on TV now....

He admits it....they did badly. 'Big issue was Brexit'. No it wasn't. It was labour looked like shit.

They were.

Must resign now....Must resign.

Funnily enough, all the people that voted Conservative leading to this result have probably saved the Labour party from a complete far left take over.

Don’t blame the electorate, they can only vote for what’s in front of them, clearly there wasn’t a credible left of centre option and the country has spoken and punished he MP’s for their behaviour over the last few years.

Yes, give him his due -he hasn't pulled back and admitted that it could well be a disaster.

Even though you were banging on about Corbyn being the best option in your turgid diatribes?

The arse end of Hangleton
John Mcdonnell looking a very beaten man. Credit where it's due though ..... he's been honest at admitting defeat.
