Passionate... and clear thinking. We would do well to have more politicians like her.

I could understand her anger about no PR, the Greens and Brexit parties lose heavily.

But as a massive lover of Strasbourg, she had the air of an arrogant bad loser now that the UK really will be departing the EU. Other Remainers like myself, and Caroline Flint MP just then on TV, have taken it on the chin, respecting the result.

Nice phrase from a Tory spin doctor:-

"The only way Labour can now win an election is regain the trust of the working class voters.
The only way the Tories can keep hold of power is to keep their working class voters".

That does give me a pinch of hope that compassion could reappear in politics.

Still here. At work. Heartbreaking and very worried for the future of the U.K.

Some will not realise for now, and we should let them have their moment but a huge, huge blow to the citizens of Britain. We will live to regret this. Of that I’m certain.

You may be right, time will tell. But the lack of any credible alternatives meant the citizens of Britain voted the way they did.

Jess Phillips next leader?

Did you see her interview around midnight? Surprisingly to me (I remember her over the top rant in the Commons), she came across very well and was honest about the current failings in her party “Where do we start?”. But she’s not politically aligned to Momentum, plus in admitting that Corbyn, anti-semitism were/are real issues, she made powerful enemies in Thornberry, Abbott, McDonnell and McCluskey.

Where did it all go wrong for Momentum yesterday?
