I knew it was quite a large number of countries that we had arrangements with, didn't realise it was quite that large. I see we have no trade deal with the Saudis, how do we get round that, to illegally sell them arms.

WTO rules I would guess.

Well to be fair [MENTION=33253]JC Footy Genius[/MENTION], one of the most ardent Unionists on here decided after Johnson announced his 'plan' that it's ok to have a border down the Irish sea so I wouldn't be surprised

Is there really any Johnson supporter on here who believes that if he gets a majority, we will be out of the EU by 31st January and have a Trade deal agreed 11 months later

After the amount of time and money Dom has spent on this Conservative and Unionist party Broadcast, I do want to make sure it's seen by it's target audience.

It has obviously been pitched with a certain level of detail and information to ensure it hits it's target so, just to make sure all that money and effort isn't wasted. (And I get accused of taking the piss out of Leave voters )

Not sure if that is current Labour Policy, it was, and was made law in 2006, but the Tories amended it to 2 years in 2011.

Why so funny. We will leave on 31 October, with or without a deal, the EU won't be granting anymore extensions, and on my side the people won't put up with this unresolved issue indefinitely. There won't be a GE as Tories too weak to win even against toxic, unelectable Corbin and they know it.

Can I suggest then, that if you don't want to be 'disappointed' or 'lied to yet again' (depending on your POV) you read up a little about the trade deals that the EU has done in the past and how long they take by size and complexity.

And, of course, I'm sure you are aware that the current £39B 'divorce bill' only takes us to the end of 2020 and a new bill will need to be negotiated if we go beyond that date.

As a little steer, you may want to start with the most recent Canada deal, which has taken over 10 years, has no aspect of services (the thing that makes up 80% of Britain's GDP) and still isn't fully implemented.

It would be absolutely BONKERS if Corbyn was to come out and say how he would vote/campaign in a second referendum. I'm genuinely STAGGERED people want to know or think he should declare it.

Let him go to the EU and negotiate a deal he can work with. Put it to the people, stay completely neutral and then work with the outcome. It's so simple. He still would have every need to negotiate the best deal he can as it may well be what he needs to run with.

Why would he declare his stance Imagine if his 'side' 'lost'. What would people demand? that's right. Resignation and then and then and then.....
