Tonight I received a phone call from a 'married' pair of gay male friends. They were laughing their socks off about the report on BBC TV Southeast that Albion fans had made official complaints about homophobic chanting.

They feel that this action will only make things worse, and was probably made by some attention seeking drama queen(s), their words not mine.

OK, thanks for that. I'm really glad your 'friends' made a point of telling you how they really feel about this, and that you saw fit to tell us all. It will certainly make me feel like I need to change my ways and be more like you.

I would be very interested to know what our definition of homophobic is. I mean are we concerned about insulting gay people or an assualt on our masculinity? The references to 'taking it up the bum' are coarse and sexual, the same as those about 'getting tits out for the lads' even worse 'f**ck your women and drink your beer'.
