Since last Thursday I've drunk nearly 60 cans of strongbow.

I'm taking a long hard look at myself and have locked myself away indoors all day so I haven't had the urge to stop into an off license.

Finding it tough but hangover free tomorrow for the first time in a long time.

I won't deny you lot having a good drink. I love it too but its become a bit of an issue for me.

I think you need the ‘Like a drink too much thread’

I’ve been meaning to have a read in there.
Until I do it’s Punks and one Dark Star new IPA courtesy of vegster.

Lost half a stone in the last month since being back at work. Blowing it tonight, kebab, g and t and now a Guinness. Got to say Guinness is tasting great, now I have reverted to autumn drinking. Although I will need to add a mile or Two to my run tomorrow.

Heading off to the Five Bells in Smock Alley in a moment, I believe they have Theakston's Old Peculiar on at the moment, no doubt will have a Hacker Pschorr or two, too.

Oh yes, the Old Peculiar was bang on. Now at home cooking a curry and enjoying a Hazy Jane by BrewDog, it’s become my favourite BD beer I think.

Loving my £2.49 Lidl House Red.
Deep purple colour. Aromas of rich dark currants, nectarine skins, gushing blackberry, but lots of fragrant tobacco, rich soil, white flowers, smashed minerals and metal. Medium-bodied and saucy but racy acidity stabilises the wine nicely with the robust tannins. Deep red currants and ripe cherries, laden with mocha, loamy soil, charred herbs, pencil shavings, roasted hazelnut. Dense like characters that make it perfect for cellaring, however it is drinkable straight away once you expose it to the earth’s atmosphere.

I find it’s the pencil shavings that make all the difference.

Started with 2 bottles of Harvey’s Best (we live 125 miles away so this is a real treat). Then a bottle of Italian White Falanghina with dinner (spinach and German thinly sliced sausage roulade with hollandaise sauce, superb). Then drifting onto Aldi’s own Sloe Gin just released, get some, it is superb. And now collapsing into a VSOP Cognac with some salted caramel ice cream. Hazy. Happy weekend everyone.

Off out for dinner in 10 mins. Whatever looks good from the wine list

There was a lovely Chilean Malbec.

But at £9.50 a glass, I only had two and have now opened a bottle of Argentinian Malbec at home.

Halleluwah indeed! I was in Brighton on family business and popped into Resident and they had a re-released double orange heavy weight vinyl version...I just followed the script.

Which Eno piece are you listening to?

und Schöne Geburtstag!

This 'bonus track' to Neroli which in typical Eno style is longer than the whole original album. :lolol:

Thanks for Birthday greetings, currently reading my Pilots Notes for my Spitfire Simulator session...

I’ve got about 18 hours of the two different kinds of football to watch all day tomorrow, starting early so I’m taking it easy tonight to take advantage of the fact my wife starts a 24 hour ICU shift at 7am. I likely might be in the buff talking gibberish on here while nervously watching my beloved Georgia Bulldawgs take on Auburn in The South’s Oldest Rivalry.

It’s going to be embarrassing how many calories of food and drink I consume tomorrow before cleaning it all up before she gets home Sunday morning. I will also quite likely regret it all with a bloated run on Sunday. Oh well...

I bought 48 cans of Hazy Jane for £46 a little while back from Brewdog with free delivery. I’m with you on it’s their best beer now.
