Never went away. Happen every week at most grounds. Just highlited at big games......some with the worst crowd trouble in the world.

We have class, style, beautiful buildings and gorgeous countryside aplenty. A magnet for creativity and an anything-goes spirit. A tolerance of non-conformity and a rebellious streak that is indefatigable.

Yet we also are proudly democratic and only Brighton could accommodate somewhere like the Palace Pier right opposite it's biggest gay bar.

It is for me and so many others, a place that is so easy to fall in love with.
