Yes, I would be gutted. I thought is was awful when the Gooners did it.

For me, Brighton is a home town club, and should have at least some local players, in addition to simply English.

Maybe a reason to be happy about Hammond coming back?

Last Saturday, whilst walking up to the Amex for the Barnsley game, I heard a lot of youngsters behind me talking in Spanish. It was great that we have fans abroad now because of our Spanish contingent in the team. We're not just some provincial town in the south of England now.

Aren't there regulations coming, which quote a minimum amount of home grown players?
Which should mean it'll never happen.

Those sort of regulations would surely fall foul of human rights law.
Football is a business and as such a right to employ any and all nationalities surely?
