Interesting. I know you have an insight .
He was always said to live on the Aldwick Bay Estate near Pagham.
Must be wealthy, perhaps several homes?

Do you not listen to the radio or watched top of the pops?I’d quite honestly truly never knowingly heard a song by The Cure before I watched a few linked on this thread. I quite like it!
Nope. I’ve probably heard them, and not known it’s them.Do you not listen to the radio or watched top of the pops?
Was it a CD and if so, how much did you pay?New album arrived today. Sounds pretty good, especially the final (rather bleak) track. Will give it a proper listen tomorrow when Mrs Bodian is out and I'm allowed to turn the stereo up.
I bought one via their website in the hope of going to the Troxy gig tomorrow. It was £15 inc postage. Pretty sure Resident have it at the same price. Was it a CD and if so, how much did you pay?
I've seen it online to pre-order for £24.99 which seems excessive.
Yes - CD. £12.99 including postage. But I pre-ordered, and I see it's gone up to £13.99 now, plus £1.50 postage. Was it a CD and if so, how much did you pay?

EDIT - a bit more nosing around and it seems to be £13.99 in hmv:

The Cure, live at the Troxy, BBC Radio 2... RIGHT NOW (on Sounds App and on catch-up of course later).
Absolutely brilliant.
The kids of today - cah!I’d quite honestly truly never knowingly heard a song by The Cure before I watched a few linked on this thread. I quite like it!
It did get me thinking though, my favourite singer - Lene Marlin - her second album was produced by Mike Hedges who worked with The Cure a lot. It really struck me now much a producer really does to shape the overall sound of a recording.
Thanks for this. They were just selling tickets at the Troxy for tomorrow night (1 Nov). Any idea of who is in the audience tonight, and how they got there? The Cure, live at the Troxy, BBC Radio 2... RIGHT NOW (on Sounds App and on catch-up of course later).

I think this may have been a different warm-up gig tonight actually. Might have been a specific Radio 2 in concert gig (bit like they did with Blur last year). Troxy is tomorrow you are right. I could have got tix via mailing list pre-sale a week ago – but I am awayThanks for this. They were just selling tickets at the Troxy for tomorrow night (1 Nov). I tried and failed. Think the demand was way above supply. I didn't really find out because I wasn't sent the code that I should have done.I think this may have been a different warm-up gig tonight actually.
