My mum completes the parent set tomorrow.
I will do my bit to help the thread, both my parents in their late 70s had their vaccinations this week.
First vaccination today. Very well organised
In very good news for me, I had my first Jab this lunchtime against this heinous virus.
In the voice of one my endearing childhood memories..... on the way home from the Goldstone with my dad.....

good news on preventing serious illness
Just booked a farmhouse holiday in Lincolnshire last week of May for all the family , that’s 3 kids and their partners mum an dad in law me and the mrs 10 of us and 4 dogs... that’s how positive I feel :
And yet the Times is determined to paint it as a bad thing. They have forgotten that the main job of the vaccine is to prevent serious illness and death. Anything else is a bonus and will surely follow as the vaccine is tweaked in autumn.
Oxford. Did have some side effects as did a friend vaccinated at the same time. A bit flu like - hot and hard to sleep. Better this morningLikewise....very friendly too, Oxford or Pfizer?

Thx for reply, thats interesting, I felt crazy fatigue last night about 8 hours post jab and lat night couldnt sleep at all, like some mad insomnia thing, was clock watching at 6am before grabbing a few hours, though didnt see anything about insomnia type stuff on the likely symptoms sheet.
But still, better in that out, i'll take it, if its for 1 night only!
