Zoe App continues to show a steady drop of 1000+ cases per day nationally. Now down to 18,000 cases per day (from 70,000 at the start of January)
.
And cases in the South East showing the same rate of decline.

At this rate we will see cases dropping below 10,000 per day by mid February - as we complete vaccination of all the most vulnerable groups.
By the end of February things will be looking so much better.
And then Spring starts!

I will do my bit to help the thread, both my parents in their late 70s had their vaccinations this week.

In very good news for me, I had my first Jab this lunchtime against this heinous virus.

In the voice of one my endearing childhood memories..... on the way home from the Goldstone with my dad.....

Mr James Alexander Gordon RIP.

Good news on a personal note for me as my Mum has had her first jab this morning. She said it was all very efficient up at the Race Hill in Brighton, was told they'd already done over 300 people this morning. Great work. That's my Mum, my Dad and my Aunt and Uncle up north who've had their jabs this week.

Oxford. Did have some side effects as did a friend vaccinated at the same time. A bit flu like - hot and hard to sleep. Better this morning

Thx for reply, thats interesting, I felt crazy fatigue last night about 8 hours post jab and lat night couldnt sleep at all, like some mad insomnia thing, was clock watching at 6am before grabbing a few hours, though didnt see anything about insomnia type stuff on the likely symptoms sheet.

But still, better in that out, i'll take it, if its for 1 night only!

My daughter has had the first jab. Side effects on par with a hangover and she couldn’t sleep.
