So this has rather quietly turned up, guessing the press will pick up on it fairly soon?!
Antibody test now on sale in UK which has met the MHRA criteria (minimum 98% specificity and sensitivity, and it has met/surpassed these.)
It appears you can buy one NOW for £89. I am slightly tempted - given very COVID-19-like symptoms in mid-March.

If that really is reliable that could be the beginning of the beginning of the end. £89 private treatment isn't viable but as far as I'm concerned, the quicker we accurately know the numbers who HAVE had the virus, the quicker we can ease lockdown in a safe and targeted manor.
Do I want to draw my own blood for £89? Not much. However, like you, I had symptoms. I had a funny turn at the start of March, a dry cough at the end of it and I have now had a horrid, productive, non-shifting cough for seven weeks. My GP thinks I may have had CV19. So, the question is how long can I resist not knowing versus potentially painful and expensive disappointment.
Get that rolled out on the NHS, however, and we're on our way to coin a phrase.
