The match tonight had 0-0 written all over it from 5 minutes.

Absolute complete lack of that extra bit where a player goes forward instead of sideways,
or sideways instead of back.

It was like watching relegation-threatened West Brom of several years ago versus relegation-threatened Baggies, with relegation threatened Throstles watching on.

If either of these go up they will stink the place out and go down again.

My pal Bob said to me on 85 minutes, just beating me to it, that that was an our and a half of his life that he regrets that he will never get back.

Red Bull Leeds will spend $$$.
I'm not sure if they will be in a position to spend huge amounts. Although they have received some bounties recently. The current squad will need additions though.

Burnley have drawn 0-0 in 4 of their last 5 home games and 6 of their last 10.
A quick look has them with EIGHT 0-0 draws this season alone. At this rate the bookies won't be offering odds.

That's as many as we have had in four.

Nine after tonight, and six of them at home. Basically home games consist of Burnley passing the ball around at the back waiting for a gap to appear in the opposition defence, and the opposition make sure a gap doesn't appear, so it finishes 0-0. Parker doesn't have a plan B because he is happy if we can get home draws against the likes of Stoke, Derby and Preston, so he doesn't want to risk anything wild and adventurous like playing two up front in case we lose.

Fortunately few home teams are willing to pack the defence and so we can win away games consistently.

Dyche played a more entertaining brand of football than Parker. If we do go up, it will be dreadful. We've scored 10 in the last 13 home games, and that with a squad better or as good as at least 20 of the other 23 teams. Lord knows what it will be like against better teams.

Here are the results for 2025 at Turf Moor. 0-0. 0-0. And 0-0. Oxford next - put your money on 0-0.

That's the kind of run that will really get @Tom Hark Preston Park going
