Einstien claimed nothing can travel faster than the speed of light , Tachyons move faster than light ,this has been known for nearly 60 years ,but because OUR physics is wrong ,we always work to a book that should have been thrown away 60 years ago .

“A tachyon (/ˈtækiɒn/) or tachyonic particle is a hypothetical particle that always travels faster than light……No verifiable experimental evidence for the existence of such particles has been found.”

Enlighten me. What did Einstein get wrong?

Einstein didnt like some consequences of quantum mechanics, most famously in "god does not play dice" and more explictly in EPR paradox that tried to show entanglement couldnt happen. this has since been proved to occur.

Einstein based his theories on what was known at the time, understanding that as we gain knowledge these theories will be challenged and in many cases proven wrong. That’s the point of research.
As for Darwin, others have pointed out the misconception of what he actually said.

Regardless of misconceptions or "what was known at the time " don`t dodge the bullet they were and are wrong , We wont progress if we argue semantics , but we will when we can say "I have an open mind ,and NOTHING is off the table . Our scientists read books and work by books ,they write books based partly on the books they read:shootself and round and round we go . Some on here think i`m a bit strange because i believe in UFOs, well that`s fine ,until they see one as well ,then they become enlightened or some other bs , take it or leave it i don`t care ,but in 5000 years we did squat ,but in the 20th century we went from flying 100yards in 1903 to walking on the moon 66 years later ,you figure it out ..a little help from somewhere do you think?

Do you understand the concept of a literature review? If not I suggest you do. I’m not dodging a bullet as Scientist theorise with what we know now understanding that these theories are likely to change as we gain more knowledge, hence telescopes in space.

As for help from aliens …. Really ….. no really …

BOY have you got a big surprise coming ,even the American Navy has released 3 gun camera videos and stated THEY ARE UFOs ,how can you believe "we are it" and how can you believe that a species/` hav`nt been here for years . EVERY part of the world shares common beliefs ,stories and architecture that couldn`t have been shared before travel around the globe was possible ,yet it exists !

Both Darwin and Einstien have since been proved wrong ! ,we should learn that we will be wrong so that we can recognise when we are right rather than assume we already have the answers .
Good science always accepts the fact that their hypothesis may be wrong. Ideas being challenged and disproven is science working as it should. Peer reviewing and literature reviews means that claims are challenged. The scientific method is set up quite nicely to make sure we don't assume we already have the answers.

They have stated that they're UFOs. That simply stands for Unidentified Flying Object. There are many possible explanations for what they could be. At no point did the US Navy say, yeah these are aliens btw.

I wonder why ? In a god fearing, gun happy, anti establishment country that would be.

Drip, Drip, where do you think these massive leaps in technology come from over the past 50 years.
I would guess reverse technology, I’m not saying I believe, but sometimes you have to have an open mind.

I would say there’s a greater chance of alien life forms visiting us, than a god who created the world in seven fecking days.

If the green men have given us some technology, it’s the old crap they didn’t want. It’s ****ed up our planet and sent us hurtling towards climate disaster.

We got to the moon in an airtight container sitting on a fuel tank. It wasn’t that complicated. The communications were the biggest obstacle.

Homo Sapiens are largely all born with the same brain and same capacity for learning, imagining, and creating. It would be odd if we hadn’t come up with the same or similar ideas at some points across the globe over our time on earth.

I don’t rule out that there is intelligent life out there but I doubt it’s been here telling us how to fast track our planet into extinction.

You can add to this the idea that our reality is created by an alien species. I am not saying that this is likely but to me, it is more likely that the creation story in the bible. The fact remains that we don't know this stuff and until we fill in lots of gaps in our understanding we won't know. It probably won't happen in our lifetimes, although its fun to speculate we can also end up with Scientology so we need to be careful

Indeed.

But seeing is believing for some conspiracy theorists.

Check out one of Swanny’s pals as he gets destroyed by a scientist: https://youtu.be/he-7vs0BkLE
The daft imbecile is only able to accept the reality presented to him by his eyes.

Albert Einstein theorised the existence of black holes is 1916. It took 103 years to get the first image of one.

Unfortunately, the Big Bang has already happened everywhere in the Universe so we’ll never be able to see it but when we look into space, we look back in time. The James Webb will see the oldest stars but none of them (so far) are more than 13.8 billion years old. If they find one that is, it will be front page news across the world.

Was Dave forced to appear on this video against his will? He is certainly a grump *******!

Still the other dude really struggled . . . I guess there is a good reasons for this.

He is asked "What would it take to prove to you?"

The answer "Nothing"

Terms like 'Dark Matter', 'Dark Energy' and indeed 'The Big Bang' just emphasise how little we know about the cosmos. In a couple of centuries, maybe less, they'll be mocking our understanding of the cosmos exact like we used to mock 17th century understanding of the cosmos. So it goes. Forever and ever

i find this subject fascinating , captivating ....so much so it makes my brain fizz , 150,000,000 galaxies out there ,

"spacemen" are featured in Egyptian hieroglyphics and Aztec and Mayan carved works....so i'd have to agree with your last sentence for sure.

If your brain is fizzing over 150 million galaxies, it’s going to pop when you find out that current estimates are that there are ~ 2 Trillion galaxies in the Universe!

https://bigthink.com/starts-with-a-bang/how-many-galaxies/

Seems unlikely that none of those contain any life. . . and that is just the observable universe. How much of the universe is that.

Sydney is right though the numbers are mind-boggling.

**** those scientists though, how dare they not have worked this shit out yet. You know it is just because they are on the go slow so their funding doesn't get cut.

I agree that there is bound to be life on other planets, how could there not be in an infinite universe however I don’t believe they have given us the technology for the advancements made in the last 100 years. Simply if that is the sum of alien technology then it’s a bit shit.

You make a good point. If we have had access to technology that has bought aliens from far away (it seems fairly settled that there aren't any close by, as far as i know anyway?) why have we still not taken anything more than a tiny step out into the galaxy/universe?
