I await to see pathetic attempts at proving me wrong

Difficult to disagree and in fact got me to listen to the whole album this evening. It is great and surely one of the great live experiences is seeing MBV. How loud would they need to be at Glastonbury, the Tor would be trembling!

Rollercoaster Tour April 1992 Brixton Academy MBV were on 3rd I recall after Dinosaur Jr and Blur with the Jesus and Mary Chain headlining.

Each successive Band seemed to set the PA louder and louder.

MBV were exceedingly loud and finished their set with You Made Me Realise which deteriorated into a single chord and feedback noise madness. It seemed to last forever but was probably only 10 to 15 minutes. I made my excuses and headed to the Bar (lightweight).

Supper's Ready from Foxtrot by Genesis.

Twenty plus minutes of overblown theatrical symphonic wonder.

Ok, I'm going to go with 'Coney Island baby' from Walk on the Wild Side - The Best of Lou Reed. I know compilations aren't always the most valid of formats but, apart from anything else, this album was my introduction to all things Lou Reed / Velvet Underground, & it is a brilliant album throughout.
