Off topic, but here's a taster...

Blimey, I've got Lowlife's first (only?) album, but haven't played it for years; must dig it out again. Forgotten how good Hollow Gut is.

The ones that came straight to my mind were Slow Life by Super Furry Animals off Phantom Power, and Rock & Roll Suicide by David Bowie off Ziggy Stardust.

RnR Suicide is a great shout.

It appears that people are going for classic albums, but as an alternative view how about...

A song from under the floorboards - Magazine.

It's Obvious - Au Pairs.

So many good albums seem to take the "wind down" option for the last track.

I love it too, but it's not the last track, is it? It's the first!

Fools Overture was a good shout though

My own nomination is Afterglow from Wind and Wuthering (Genesis, in case anyone doesn't know it)

Still Life from Suede's Dog Man Star album gives me goosebumps. Probably not the best but genuinely the first thing that came to mind.

this should be a debate between Belfast on Orbital's Green album or Halcyon on Orbital's Brown album. alas, they put daft outro track after them, so they dont qualitfy.

While not disputing a good track, its not even the best Supertramp closing album track

In my opinion, it is.

It's all about opinions.
