Morcilla is where it's at
I have heard that is beautiful.

I took the J-wife to Ireland 5 years ago and had brekkie in a greasy spoon type cafe where they served both black AND white pudding. She bloody loved it.
Great shout…it’s incredible : Had it a few times in Madrid, even in the smart restaurants they serve it with fries and a fried egg for lunch. Fantastic
Seconded.
Black pudding with fried egg is my Saturday morning treat.
This …with the egg a little brown and crispy around the edge.
When it comes to Black & White pudding, Clonakilty is my absolute favourite and is available via Sainsbury's and Ocado
I also came across this company just before Christmas https://www.fruitpig.co.uk/black-puddings, I'm yet to try their puddings but I'm very excited to get my first order in...
Fruitpig is readily available in Barfields at Fiveways (who also currently stock their own haggis, until the 27th). It's made with fresh blood, not dried, an important distinction.
Anyone tried a “Manchester egg”? I’d like to give that a go. If the yolk is still warm and runny, that could be very nice indeed. Thoughts?

Morcilla, Véres Hurka, Boudin Noir, Blodpudding, Kishka, Ssângerete, Krovyanaya Kolbasa, Blodpølse, Kaszanka, Mustamakkara, Buristo, Blutwurst (and that's just from Europe), also popular in various forms throughout the Americas and Asia. I thought you were a man of cosmopolitan tastesWho wants to eat something made out of animal blood !!!! A vampire perhaps . My general rule of thumb is if it’s a popular food in Scotland, avoid it because they have the most unhealthy diet in Western Europe .
Easily available locally, Stornoway and Clonakilty
Absolutely love it. Got a delivery from the Bury BP company last Father’s Day….one standard, one chilli flavour…….they’re £5 for a 1.3kg stick. Freezes very well so just sliced it up and froze it in meal-sized packs (easily cooked from frozen as well). Glorious.

ripped you off bigtime for that, must have seen your BN postcode. Black pudding? Bloodclat more like
Calcot Farm makes their own, I pick it up from Florence Rd market on Saturdays but they do home deliveries and isn't too far if you're driving. Best I've had since moving back from Edinburgh.
