When I went up for the Burnley game I stayed at the Holiday Inn. Got a typical ‘how was your stay?’ Email after I checked out, and in the ‘any comments’ box I tongue in cheek said I was disappointed there was no black pudding with the breakfast (given the location it was the only thing I was looking forward to) …….the same day, I got a reply from the General Manager saying he’d been on at head office for months to include it so he was going to use my feedback to have another go at them :lolol::lolol:

Absolutely love it. Got a delivery from the Bury BP company last Father’s Day….one standard, one chilli flavour…….they’re £5 for a 1.3kg stick. Freezes very well so just sliced it up and froze it in meal-sized packs (easily cooked from frozen as well). Glorious. :D

£6.95 for delivery!! - I can't see anywhere if there is a minimum spend to qualify for free delivery - otherwise, I'm tempted. Pretty sure this is what my local butcher stocks in the stick format and slice according to your requirements.

I have never been served a decent haggis. But I know I would like it.

Got my last batch (slices rather than a whole haggis, like the BP be easily frozen and cooked from frozen) along with my Christmas meat order from here :

Going to have to go and have some for dinner now (with a couple of runny fried eggs) :p

Haggis works almost as well :p

Got a McSweens for tomorrow nights dinner.

As for Black Pudding, I’m not aware of many Sussex made versions that get me going, but don’t write off Morrison’s own , it is very nice, Waitrose is good too.

Perhaps I should do haggis for Burns. Anyone want to pop over and pipe her in for me?

The Waitrose slices are actually acceptable and good quality.

For white pudding I managed to get some at Cowdray Park farm shop which has an incredible butchers

A true breakfast should have both. I miss my regular work trips to Scotland where the hotel did exactly that (plus Lorne Sausage and tattie scones, obvs)

Got some square sausage and some white pudding in the freezer from a trip we had to Scotland in October, think I’ll get some out for breakfast on Saturday morning.

The food of kings!

I'm not sure if you are asking where to buy or where to consume so apologies I can't help further on this occasion.

If supermarket it has to be Macsweens. Bizarrely the veggie one tastes nearly as good as the real thing.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll see if the butcher here does a decent one, if not Macsweens it shall be wee laddy!
